The 2013 'Pignatuni' is a gorgeous wine, impressive for its wonderful silky tannins and seamless texture. This clean, precise Rosso is composed of 98% Nerello Mascalese and 2% Nerello Cappuccio and features aromas and flavors of red berries, smoky minerals, mint, spices and crushed rose petal which all come together beautifully. It continues to impress with its outstanding overall balance and pretty finish which firms up and leaves behind delicious red berries lingering. A superb effort from Marco de Grazia.
