The Cuvee Vigne Alte is a 100 % Nerello Mascalese is a blended from Cornelissen's highest vineyards, Tartaraci, Rampante soprana, Barbabecchi. It as a beautiful and elegant bouquet with aromas of morello cherries, huckleberry, black plum, blood orange, leather, dried herbs and wild flowers are all present. This is medium-bodied and packed with layers of complexity at its core. It brings balanced acidity and chewy tannins to the mid-palate with lots of freshness and acidity on the long finish. This well-balanced and delicious wine will last for another 15 plus years, but ideally give it another 3-5 in bottle before enjoying.
