This stunning young Barolo wine begins with pretty aromatics of rose petals with cranberry and red cherry accents. Showing nice depth on the mid-palate, the wine yields rich flavors of strawberry, guava, red cherry, black truffle crudo, dill and eucalpyus that sit alongside some mild to moderate dusty tannins. The 2011 Barolo will drink beautifuly now with a long decant but the wine also shows gorgeous aging potential as well. (Best 2017-2030) - February, 2017 (OB)
