From a top house in Montalcino comes the 2007 Castelgiocondo. This is an absolutely gorgeous showing, beaming with ripe cherries and blackberries followed by tobacco, dried floral, sweet chocolate-licorice twist and hints of sandalwood. It brings plenty of depth along with fantastic structure and balance, finishing up long and silky. This needs to age a bit, but nonetheless a wonderful Brunello!
