The 2015 Vigna la Casa ‘La Casa’ Brunello is fantastic. Energetic with a vibrant sensory profile, this young red shows emergent notes of lavender, blue plums, cherries and sweet caramel. On the palate this possesses a medium body, with well-ripened sweet tannins and a yet rigid and astringent finish which will take a few years to fully integrate and blend into the wine matrix. One of the more backward wines from the vintage, but this should have a fantastic in store.
