The 2015 Ventolaio Brunello di Montalcino is warm and ripe on the nose, it dispenses lovely aromatics with hints of red plums, cherries, black cherries, pomegranate and spring flowers with subtle hints of roasted meat adding even further complexity. The palate is medium to full bodied, with a core of sweet and perfectly ripe ripe fruits that a re framed by velvety tannins. It comes to an end with a fantastic finish that highlights the quality and energy of the beautiful fruit. While this delicious now, it should also evolve nicely with some additional bottle age.
