The 2004 San Filippo Brunello di Montalcino Le Lucere is still very primal at this early stage, showing some raspberry, licorice and leather notes. Shows wonderful structure with ultra-fine tannins that are tightly-wound. This will need a few more years in the cellar, but patience will be rewarded. (Drink 2013-2023) - May, 2009 (JD)
