The 2009 Ravera is a fantastic Barbera, bursting with fresh blackberries and cherries, which are woven together with vanilla, dried floral and minerals. The full body is nicely balanced, supported by tight, polished tannins and a lovely layer of acidity keeping this fresh and inviting through the finish. There is no need to wait much longer here, however that being said it should also continue to age over the short term for those willing to wait. (Best 2015-2022) - January, 2014 (JD)
