This pale gold colored wine is a bit higher alcohol than the other releases (13%) and comes from the Kesseler estate vineyards, with vines roughly 30 years of age. The wine opens with aromas of poached pear, crushed rock, star jasmine and starfruit. There are flavors reminiscent of pink grapefruit, Japanese pear and lemon-lime along slate. Wonderful minerality and effervescence in this bone dry effort. A wonderful value from Kesseler. (Best 2015-2022) - November, 2015 (OB)
