This Riesling shows Granny Smith apple, slate, and pink grapefruit blossom aromatics. With just a touch of sweetness, this shows off wonderful astringency and terroir. White flowers, Gravenstein apple, kumquat and wet stone flavors sit alongside a nice mineral backbone. This is an outstanding value wine out of the Nahe that is wonderfully refreshing and mineral driven. (Best 2017-2021) - August, 2017 (OB)
