The 2017 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett offers a highly perfumed nose with ripe pineapple, green apple, green papaya and wet stone that all come together. The palate shows wonderful freshness and intensity. Ripe peach, wet stone, lemon zest and wet stone flavors all marvelously combine and continue through the exceedingly long finish. This fabulous effort will cellar well for a decade or more.
