Another wonderful showing from J.J. Prüm in this vintage is the Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese. This instantly begins to impress with its striking purity and complex aromatics of white peaches, bight orchard fruits, citrus zest, orange blossoms, green tea and minerals. On the palate this is beautifully textured with a lovely touch of acidity providing freshness as it heads into the gorgeous, clean finish. While this is certainly delightful now, it also shows wonderful promise to age and should continue to evolve beautifully for over a decade.
