The 2015 Château Labadie is a blend of 53% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Cabernet Franc. It immediately opens with aromas of ripe blackberries, tobacco, fresh mint, tar, wild herbs and earth. It has delicious plush tannins with lots of dark fruits and spice flavors as it caresses the palate into the silky finish. A great valued Médoc that should be enjoyed now or with some short-term cellaring.
