Château Lafon is Composed of 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, which is sourced from 25 year old vines. The wine itself shows notable concentration, with a profile of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, spices, tobacco, minerals and hints of vanilla all coming together in this full-bodied red. This is well-balanced with a round, plush texture leading into a lingering fnish, marked with cherries and streaks of minerals. Overall, this is a lovely showing which will be accessible early on.
