The 2019 Chateau Capdet Listrac-Médoc instantly impresses with its inviting aromas of dark cherries and dark plums which are joined by cigar box, spring flowers and earthy nuances all emerging from the glass. On the palate this possesses a medium body and well-structured, supported by fine-grained, silky tannins that make for a lovely elegant mouthfeel which continues through the finish. While this is fantastic now, but should become even more compelling as it evolves over the course of the next decade.
