The Chateau Maucoil Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is mostly Grenache blanc (90%) along with some Bourboulenc (8%) and Clairette (2%). It opens to pretty aromas of sweet apple, honeycomb along with hints of ginger, and wild flowers. A very drinkable white with a medium body and great overall mouthfeel and balance. While this is showing well today, it should continue to evolve over the next 5-7 years.
