The 2015 Vieux Clocher Chateauneuf-du-Pape begins with aromatics of raspberries and cherries accompanied by spices, white pepper and savory nuances, which all take shape. Medium-bodied, fresh and inviting with a lovely silky texture which is wrapped around a core of juicy red fruits that burst on to the finish. While its fresh character makes it appealing in its youth, this also should take on additional complexity over the next handful of years.
