The 2015 'La Folie' is composed from predominantly old-vine Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre. It instantly opens to nuances of kirsch cherries and ripe boysenberries which are accented by sweet spices, floral and a touch of white pepper rounding out the aromatics. On the palate this is full-bodied and layered with a dense, concentrated core of sweet red and dark fruits. The lovely round, plush texture expands seamlessly through the long, opulent finish. A forward and accessible wine from Bosquet Des Papes, which offers immediate appeal.
