DOMAINE DU PÉGAÜ Châteauneuf-du-Pape 'Cuvée Réservée' Blanc 2013

The 2013 Cuvée Reservée from Domaine du Pégaü is a sensational blend of 60% Clairette, 20% Grenache Blanc, 10% Roussanne, and 10% Bourboulenc. It possesses an exotic nose of pineapple, honey, dried apricot, green almond, pear, crushed stone and white flowers. The lovely excellent texture caresses your palate and lively acidity provides a wonderful sense of energy through the vibrant finish leaving you wanting more. Today it is showing well with some air, but this age worthy white should be held for 2-3 years before it is ready to shine. (Best 2016-2028) - November, 2014 (MD)
