The 2008 Domaine du Pegau Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reservee delivers a beautiful mix of red berries, raspberry, smoke, lavender, chocolate, pepper, exotic spices, and game notes. Medium-full body with a beautiful velvety texture and a long chewy finish. The Cuvée is 100% hand picked from vines averaging 60+ years in age and composed of about 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 4% Mourvèdre, and 6% other authorized varietals including Counoise, Cinsault, Vaccarèse, and others.
