The 2019 Domaine de l’Eyrolle Lirac opens to aromas of ripe black raspberries and dark plums, followed by crushed violets, spices, white pepper and licorice nuances which all begin to take shape as it unwinds in the glass. This possesses a lovely polished texture that ends with a velvety finish which lingers. This is an absolutely delicious Lirac that is drinking beautifully in its youth and should continue to impress as it evolves in bottle over the next few years.
