The Pinot Noir from Domaine de la Pinte comes from red marl soils with vines aged 35 years. The wine is fermented in cement with indigenous yeasts and aged in oak for 19 months. It opens to a beautiful bouquet, with vivid aromas of red cherries, and berries coupled ny nuances of earth, tobacco, fresh herbs, sweet spice and a dusty mineral character. On the palate this has a medium body with a beautifully silky textured mouth feel. It continues to offer ripe juicy red fruits and earthy flavors which expand beautifully through the elegant finish.
