The 2013 'Les Narvaux' is a wonderful effort from Olivier Chanzy, which possesses more complexity and a bit more depth then the classic Meursault. It displays a wonderful elegant character with gorgeous aromas of Asian pear, lemon, honeysuckle, white flowers, saline and flinty minerals. On the palate this is clean and precise with outstanding balance, ending with an elegant finish laced with gorgeous minerality. Today, the ‘Les Narvaux’ is very appealing, but it should also continue to gain complexity as it evolves over the next few years. (Best 2016-2022) - July, 2015 (JD)
