A massive wine with mouthful of ripe dark plums, raspberry reduction sauce, spices, and some cocoa powder. Soft and supple with densely packed dark fruits which coat your palate all the way through the peppery finish. The biggest critique here is that it seemed to be lacking the structure to support the big fruit. Grenache, Syrah, Carignan. (Best 2013-2016) - February, 2013
