The 2012 Cistus Blanc from Chateau la Liquiere is a stunning wine. It is a blend of 60% Roussane, 20% Grenache blanc, 10% Vermentino, 10% Bourboulenc. . It has expressive aromas of citrus peel, pineapple, honeydew melon, pear, straw, mineral and white flowers. The texture is lovely with lots of bright citrus, cream and dried spice on the palate. Very focused and well made with good acidity on the finish. Great now, but will show better with some air or bottle age. (Best 2015-2020) - September, 2014 (MD)
