The 2014 Cabernet Franc from Château Ribebon is a lovely showing which instantly opens with aromas of fresh black cherries, blackberries, spices with smoke, tobacco and an earthy character. It possesses a medium to full body which is well balanced and backed by a gorgeous velvety texture. Flavors of dark fruits and floral expand through the palate and linger in the finish. This is already showing lots of appealing characteristics, but I expect it to continue to develop with some additional bottle age. (Best 2017-2024) - July, 2016 (JD)
