CHÂTEAU SAINT-MICHEL Bordeaux Supérieur 2013

Château Saint-Michel is run by the Delon family of Château Leoville Las Cases and therefore is able to bring the knowledge of an experienced winemaking team to Saint-Michel. The wine offers aromas of fresh bing cherries followed by spices, anise and crushed stones, which all coming together in the glass. This possesses a medium body backed by fine silky tannins and ends with a pleasant finish. Allow it another year or so in bottle to flesh out, but overall the pedigree of a top winemaking team was able to produce a nice effort in a difficult vintage. (Best 2015-2018) - Decemner, 2014 (JD)
