The 2019 is shaping up nicely over the past year. It is composed of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and opens to inviting aromas of cherries and blackberries followed by tobacco, spices, wet stones and hints of toast. Medium-bodied with fine tannins leading to the finish where cherries, tobacco and mineral notes linger. Accessible now, with some short-term ageing potential.
