The 2020 Château Hyot 'Reserve' delivers aromas of cherries and plums that are accented by spices, iron, crushed stones and hints of licorice. The mineral-driven palate is medium-bodied, well balanced and structured with silky tannins, leading into the finish where flavors of cherries, spices and minerals linger. Overall, this is a lovey showing and a wonderful example of the depth of quality which can be found from the vintage.
