The 2016 Château Ribebon Bordeaux Supérieur is composed primarily of Cabernet Franc a small percentage of Merlot. It begins with aromas of fresh blackberries, cherries, toast, tobacco and hints of dried spices. On the palate this is medium-bodied and nicely structured with velvety tannins that lead up to the long, lingering finish which is marked by green tobacco and dark fruit flavors. This should drinking beautifully with some short-term cellaring, however if approaching soon be sure to allow this some air contact to fully express itself.
