The 2019 Bourgueil Tuffeaux from Pascal & Alain Lorieux begins with aromas raspberries and wild berries that are accented by tobacco, dried herbs and floral nuances all coming together. The palate is medium-bodied and refined, with fine tannins that fame the flavors of red berries and tobacco which continue through the finish. This is accessible now, but should also develop nicely with another year or so in bottle
