The 2018 Château de la Ragotière 'Les Vielles Vignes' Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine is an outstanding effort, which was sourced from 30-60 year-old Melon de Bourgogne vines. The aromatics are marvelously perfumed with white florals, honeysuckle and shades of nectarine rind that all enter the fray. The freshness imparted is just as good, as the racy acidity is woven into minerals, green apple, kumquat and honeydew melon flavors. Enjoy this beautiful wine in its youth while the brighness remains.
