The 2020 Chateau Bru Lagardette Cahors opens to fresh, inviting aromas of dark berries and cherries which are woven together with spices, white pepper, lavender, wild herbs and earthy nuances. On the palate this is medium-bodied and well-structered with lovely overall balance leading up to the silky finish. A lovely showing that is accessible now and should continue to offer a drinking window that could span a decade.
