The 2014 Chante-Alouette is an absolutely fantastic wine, this 100% Marsanne opens with lovely aromatics of quince, honeysuckle, white florals, green tea, orange peel, beeswax and hints of flinty minerals which mirror on the palate. This is richly textured and layered, yet beautifully balanced with wonderful precision through the finish. While excellent today, the 2012 will need a few more years to develop and take shape in bottle, so some patience will be required. (Best 2018-2026) - May, 2016 (JD)
