This 2018 Bourgogne Blanc from Jean-Marc Roulot opens to clean, precise aromatics of yellow apple, lime zest, crushed stones, green almond and hints of white blossoms. On the palate this is well-balanced with excellent focus, along with a fantastic combination of acidity and minerality framing the citrus and apple flavors. While this is showing some early appeal, it is still a bit reserved and could benefit from another year or two of bottle age.
