This Syrah has a very aromatic nose of black currant, almond paste, olive, black licorice, berry, black pepper and graphite. The tannins are supple, yet tightly wound and it finishes up racy with an explosion of pure fruit. If you can resist, put it down for 2 years and enjoy it over the next 10 years or so.
