Opening with a lovely reductive nose filled with fresh pineapple, ripe apricot, flint and oak spices, this lovely Santenay delivers. Presenting high acidity, medium to full body and a lovely creaminess on the palate, the flavors of lemon zest, ripe stone fruit, matchstick and sweet baking spices come through nicely on the lengthy finish that goes on for ages. One of my favorites from Chateau de la Cree.
