The 1996 'Les Pucelles’ is showing absolutely incredible and has aged tremendously over the last two decades. Today the wine is simply stunning with seductive aromas of flinty minerals, burnt sulfer, lemon oil and honeysuckle that instantly win you over. It continues to impress on the palate with its gorgeous balance and still very live core of acidity that carries on through the long complex finish. Although I this wine can still last a few more years, I believe it is as good as it will ever be right now and anyone who still has any in their cellar should certainly consider approaching them soon. A truly spectacular wine. (Best 2015-2019) - January, 2015 (JD)
