Debatably coming from one of the best sites for Chardonnay in all of Burgundy, this Puligny-Montrachet is an absolute stunner of a wine. The wine shows phenomenal purity and strength as well as a lengthy finish. It is drinking wonderfully right now with notes of crushed citrus fruits, white meadow flowers, oyster shell, a hint of old leather and white button mushroom. It’s incredibly balanced, medium bodied and shows strength as well as elegance on the back palate. Drink now or over the next decade. Highly recommended.
