The 2014 'Les Roches’ is 100% Syrah sourced from 40-year-old-vines. This instantly opens with aromas of blueberries, black raspberries, spices, violets, licorice and crushed stones which best from the glass. This possesses a lovely velvety texture that is supported by a solid core and layers of flavors that build up resonate all the way through the finish. If approaching this early it will require a couple hours of air contact, but for those with patience, waiting it out another few years will ultimately be the best decision.
