The Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux is a excellent showing in this vintage and with only 38% of the entire 82 hectare production at Château Margaux being used for the Grand Vin in 2008, all the remaining fruit went into the Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux. The wine itself brings aromas and flavors of dark cherries, blackberries, graphite, mineral and spring floral. It possesses a firm structure, focused around fine tannins and a precise finish.
