The 2011 Chateau Malescot St. Exupery start off with aromas of blackberry and dark plums which come together with spring flowers, graphite and hints of espresso and licorice. On the palate this is medium-bodied and nicely balanced with a lovely velvety texture throughout. Wont be the longest lived Malescot ever, but it is showing wonderful in its youth and should offer at least a decade long window.
