The 2018 Château de Landiras opens to inviting aromas of dark cherries and blackberries which are woven together with tobacco, toast, wet gravel and hints of spices that all come together and emerge from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a lovely texture and notable overall depth and focus. It remains beautifully structured and well-balanced through the finish, where traces of dark cherries and minerals accents continue to linger. This is offering plenty of early appeal now, however it should continue to evolve over the course of the next decade.
