The 2021 Chateau Ferrand Pomerol offers fantastic aromatics of black cherries and blackberries, which are joined with nuances of spices, violets, tobacco and hints of earth. The medium-bodied palate offers plenty of fresh red and dark fruits that are supported by fine-grained tannins that provide excellent structure. It remains well-balanced with lovely sense of freshness through the long finish. Excellent now, however if allowed a few more years to develop, it should become even more compelling.
