The Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is absolutely brilliant in 2001. It brings expressive aromas of dark cherries, blackberry, tar, roasted coffee, pain grille, mineral and spring floral which all come together beautifully in the glass. It possesses excellent structure along with remarkable depth and focus all the way through the finish. Today, the wine is drinking fantastic and should continue to do so for at least another decade.
