The 2015 Aureluis is composed of predominately Merlot, with the addition of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark and brooding, this begins with expressive aromatics of ripe blackberries, dark cherries and cassis woven together with sweet spices, toasted hazelnut, spring florals and wet stones all soaring from the glass. On this palate this possesses a full, voluptuous mouthfeel which remains well balanced as it expands through the long, plush finish. A seductive Saint-Émilion which can be approached early on.
