From an excellent vintage the 2010 Moric Blaufrankisch comes from vines in Neckenmarkt, Lutzmannsburg and Zagersdorf. It delivers absolutely gorgeous perfumed aromas of cranberry, wild berries, pretty floral, cloves and mineral, just very fresh and clean. This has a beautiful elegance to it, it's also very focused and balanced with loads of tangy mouthwatering acidity. Burgundian in style, delicious and an easy task to polish off an entire bottle. Another excellent wine from winemaker Roland Velich. (Best 2013-2020) - October, 2012 (JD)
