The 2007 Mitolo Shiraz Reiver comes from a single vineyard in Greenock, located in the northern part of the Barossa Valley which is situated at 550 meters above sea level and grown in a continental climate. It is rich and dense, offering a mix of dark fruits including bramble berry, dark plum along with underbrush, spice with hints of cedar. Full-bodied, well-structured with a polished texture. Give this some air time to fully open up if drinking now. (Drink 2012-2018) - January, 2012 (JD)
