The One Ball vineyard is located 1600 feet above sea level in the Kenton Valley. This single vineyard Chardonnay is aged 12 months in French oak, half barriques and half puncheons. It is a truly balanced effort with a bouquet of lemon oil, dried thyme, fresh mineral, scorched earth, petrol and white flowers. On the finish there is great acidity coupled with a smooth and creamy texture. It is approachable now, but could benefit from a year in the bottle. (Best 2015-2023) - August, 2014 - (MD)
