BK WINES Pinot Noir 'Skin & Bones' 2013

The fruit for the Skin ‘N Bones Pinot Noir is a combination of Dijon 114, 115, 777 and MV6 clones which have been sourced from the Gower vineyard in the Lenswood District. Winemaker Brendon Keys allows skin contact for 100 days and ages the wine for 12 months in French barriques. The wine itself bursts open with fresh aromas of cherry, strawberry, herbs, black tea, earth, and a gorgeous floral character. It shows wonderful elegance with amazing purity and a lovely plush texture that carries through to the end. (Best 2014-2024) - August, 2014 - (MD)
